About MSBiofuels:

The Mississippi Biofuels Group site exists to provide a community for those members sharing an interest in Biodiesel. Whether it be asking questions regarding running it in their vehicle or making their own Biodiesel or getting help with assembling a processor kit. While MSBiofuels may eventually grow into a full-fledged Coop, as of right now it exist solely as a community for Biodiesel enthusiasts.

About Biodiesel:

Biodiesel as an alternative fuel source makes excellent sense. It is produced domestically from vegetable oil, a renewable resource. It can be run in any newer diesel engine with No modification, and is well known for cleaning out the fuel system of the vehicle. Biodiesel is a much better lubricant than diesel fuel, cutting engine wear drastically. It mixes easily and evenly with Petroleum diesel at any percentage. Biodiesel pollutes less, drastically reducing cancer-causing soot and adds a pleasant "fried food" aroma to the exhaust. It even reduces engine vibration and noise.

Quite possibly the best thing about Biodiesel is that it can be produced at home, using a processor built out of a kit bought bvonline and a water heater. The chemicals are easy to find if you know where to look and the process doesn't require more than a couple of hours of effort. In the end, you have a fuel source that can cost as little as 45 cents per gallon.
